H.R.H. Sardar Rev. Dr. Vance L. Whippo
Rev. Dr. Vance Whippo serves as Grand Chancellor of the Royal House of Bharuch (India). In recognition of his service, he has been awarded Grand Commander in the Order of the Lion of Bharuch and formally ennobled with the title of Sardar. He is an American humanitarian and cultural diplomat with decades of engagement across the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and Africa. He holds multiple academic degrees and has prior military service, shaping a leadership style grounded in discipline, service, and cross-cultural respect. His work focuses on strengthening ties between traditional institutions and modern governance while advancing humanitarian cooperation. Living between two countries and traveling extensively, Rev. Dr. Whippo identifies as a global citizen and supports ethical artificial intelligence and environmentally responsible energy initiatives.
H.H. Amir Cdr. Nicholas Alan Hoffmann
Nick Hoffmann was appointed Vice-Chancellor of the Royal House of Bharuch in recognition of his instrumental role in helping shape and structure the present Bharuchi honors system. He has been ennobled with the title of Amir and decorated with the Order of the Star of Barygaza in the grade of Knight Commander. He has also received distinctions from several other Royal and Noble Houses, including appointment as a Knight of the Order of the Eagle of Georgia, Knight Commander of the Order of St Michael of the Wing, and Commander (III Class) of the Order of Danilo I. Beyond his services to the Royal House of Bharuch, Amir Hoffmann’s scholarly interests include heraldry, genealogy, philosophy, history, and comparative religions. He is actively involved in historical and heritage organizations, serving as an officer of the Augustan Society, the California Commandery of the Military Order of Foreign Wars, and the California Society of Colonial Wars. He has also previously held leadership roles in the California War of 1812 Society and the Surface Navy Association.
