The Nawab Imtiyaz-ud-Daula
Dilerjung Bravery Medal

The Nawab Imtiyaz-ud-Daula Moazziz Maazud Khan Bahadur Dilerjung Bravery Medal honours the memory of His Royal Highness Nawab Imtiyaz-ud-Daula Moazziz Maazud Khan Bahadur Dilerjung, Nawab of Bharuch (1768–1772), the last ruling Nawab of the State.

During his reign, coins were issued in his name, affirming his sovereign authority. He confronted the power of the East India Company, culminating in the Treaty of Peace and Firm Friendship (1771) — concluded between the Honourable William Hornby, Esq., President & Governor in Council of Bombay, on behalf of the East India Company, and The Nawab.

This Bravery Medal recognises acts of loyalty, valour, and principled courage in the spirit of "Dilerjung" (दिलेर जंग / دلیر جنگ) Courage in Battle — whether military, civic, professional, or personal.
